Your Second Visit to Our Geneva Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

On the second visit, the doctor will discuss the findings from the exam and review the x-rays with the practice member.  Their spouse is encouraged to participate in this visit so that they also clearly understand the nature and severity of the condition.

This is usually attended to on your second visit, which may be later the same day or the following day. This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives us time to correlate our findings
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

The doctor will recommend a customized treatment plan and discuss the insurance and finances associated with it.  The practice member will be adjusted on this visit so that the healing process can begin as soon as possible.

In certain situations, and in the professional judgment of Dr. Nate, we sometimes make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation.

Dr. Nate Asks some important questions of interest to Geneva residents - Chiropractor Geneva Dr. Nate Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
Are aches and pains good or bad?
While aches or pains may be unpleasant, they're merely warning signs. As a Geneva chiropractor, I see this all the time. The pain is not the problem! It just means a limitation has been reached and something needs to change. That's when we get to work correcting the underlying cause.
